Farhad Vilkiji joins European Film Academy

Iranian film production designer, Farhad Vilkiji, has become an official member of the European Film Academy (EFA).

He is the only Iranian production designer that succeeded to join the academy. Vilkiji will also judge at the EFA film festival.

The Germany-based European Film Academy holds an annual festival that includes competitive sections of Feature Films, Documentaries, Animated Feature Films, Short Films, etc. The 32nd edition of this festival will be held on December 12.

He has worked as a designer for Iranian movies and historical TV series such as ‘Gharib’s World’, ‘The Lady’, ‘In the Name of Father’, and ‘Goodbye Baghdad’.

Since 2010, Vilkiji has been the official jury member of the SCENECS Film Festival in the Netherland.
